As they began creating the Nest and Go, they realized it would be a great idea to make the Nest and Go suitable for longer-term travel use. They incorporated a flexible litter tray (treated with an antimicrobial material) that sits flush under the bottom of the cushion-like a second skin of the base. When a cat owner gets to their destination there is already a litter tray (and scoop) in the bottom; you simply remove the litter tray, fill it with litter and now you've got a comforting travel solution for a cat. For a small dog, the antimicrobial tray functions as an additional water barrier in case of an accident or a water spill in the Nest and Go. When it's time to go, just dump out the litter, give the pan a quick wipe down and place it back in the Nest and Go for a safe and comfortable trip to the next destination.
